They are immune.
Also they are bitch slapped rather than being bitten so unlike traditional zombie movies (which L4D parodies) they have no way to get the infection apart from the air. So if the air doesn't transform them they are ok.

bill is awesome becouse hes an old vietnam soldier, he says negatory instead of no, he has a good clothes style and he has the spirit so kill and fight for freedom, at least thats what i think
