I don't know any of the other ones so please excuse me for that!
Just vote for your fave protagonist and state why.
Mine would have to be Niko Bellic. Not for the way he says "Cab" but because he's a well rounded character and I actually think he's pretty cool.

Claude - Didn't talk, therefore failed.
Tommy - I liked his shirt.
CJ - Hated every line of his dialogue.
Niko - Good backstory, and good voice acting.
Niko has to be my favourite then.
