Final Fantasy

With the new Final Fantasy coming out in less than 40 days. Which ones have stood out so far, are you buying it and are you playing any at the moment?

The ones that have stood out for me are 1, 2, 6 and 9.
I'll probably go on the release date to buy it, if I have the money.
I'm playing through 1 and 7 at the moment. 7 not as much, I just don't find the general game very good.
Edit: Just found a working ISO of FF9, so I'm also playing through that as well.

I don't mind XII but I realise it's not as good as all the others. It however was my first final fantasy.

I quite like FFI

I also have seen played and myself played Final fantasy 7. I just like it. It was good. Not as good as 10 though! >=D

I've watched a Let's Play of Final Fantasy 8 by the Spoony one. To say the least it looked terrible and put me off

i can't be any more excited about ff13 coming out but my all time favs have to be 7, 8, 9, 10 and 10-2

at the moment i am playing 10-2 only because i love Rikku what can i say

Your mileage may vary I think. I do like the games myself, but I wouldn't say I was a fan. If I was on a desert island and could only pick one series of RPG, I'd be more stuck between Paper Mario and Fire Emblem to decide.

Dunno if you're the fan of extremely over the top hair styles with exotic colours are you? There's an old saying: The more crazy a character's hair is, the important he is to the plot.

Lol that saying made me laugh XD, about the crazy hairstyles i kinda like some of them but i never played any crazy hair style game (or did i? ), ill watch some youtube videos of the game and ill see... (i dont know why i always put ... at the end)

It's a slow paced game really; it thrives on story over anything really. Not sure about character, in my opinion, most of them are pretty boring and overrated. Not naming names:

You're going off the most over-rated Final Fantasy of ALL TIME mah boi. Consider the other lesser well known and hyped characters, there are a few cool ones. I personally Love Yuna, but I know she's a generic good girl mage like character. Lulu was quite cool in X though, as was Wakka.

The only Wakka I know is Wakka from Paper Mario.

Like I said, I'm not a fan of the series so I go off what I've played or is generally iconic.

If they made a FF game like Kingdom Hearts. I would play it. Dissidia aside. *Waiting to be yelled at*
